High Pressure clearing things out today and bringing sunny warm conditions this week...
Overcast conditions this morning will slowly give way to mostly sunny skies this afternoon as high pressure settles into the region. With high pressure in place expect a warm and sunny work week with no rain chances until at least Friday or Saturday. High temperatures will be in the 80's and overnight lows in the 50's.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear and cooler. Low: 51-55.
Monday: Mostly sunny skies and warm. Highs: 79-83. Winds: NE 5-10 mph.
BEACH AND BOATING FORECAST:
Small Craft Advisory in effect through the weekend...with winds out of the northeast at 15 to 25 mph. Wave heights will be 3 to 6 feet near shore and 1 to 3 feet in the Albemarle and Pamlico Sounds. . TROPICAL UPDATE:
The tropics are quiet at this time.
